    Dr Shane Bracher is a data scientist and senior researcher in the SAP Innovation Center Network team at SAP. He has a PhD in Information Technology from Bond University and specialises in SAP HANA development, predictive analytics and machine learning, with a focus on SAP HANA technologies.

    Colleen is a SAP Mentor with over 10 years of experience across multiple industries and SAP Components in application security. She is heavily involved with the SAP Community (SCN) and Moderates Careers and Training & Education spaces.

    Clint has almost 20 years of SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology experience. Since being actively involved in the first SAP IQ installation in South Africa back in 1997, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience using SAP HANA, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services and the SAP BusinessObjects suite of products. He has been involved in many large-scale SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology implementations and is a globally-known and renowned speaker who regularly presents at many of the major SAP conferences and local user group events and has sat on various panel discussions. In 2012, Clint was selected as Africa's first ever SAP Mentor. He is currently based in Australia and is the Managing Partner for APJ for EV Technologies, an SAP Partner, SAP Authorized Education Partner and a Software Solutions in the SAP Ecosystem.
  • Peter Howes

    Vice President, Workforce Planning and Analytics

    With over four decades of experience in human resource management, Peter is Vice President, Workforce Planning and Analytics for SAP SuccessFactors. Peter has a distinguished global reputation as a consultant in Workforce Metrics, Analytics and Workforce Planning. For the past fifteen years Peter has spent most of his time consulting and advising to global companies in North America and Europe. Peter has spoken at more than 500 conferences and workshops across the globe over the past thirty years and has been involved in more than 100 consulting assignments in Workforce Planning and Workforce Analytics. In July 2010 Peter sold his business, Infohrm, to SuccessFactors, which was subsequently acquired by SAP in February 2012. Within SuccessFactors Peter has a Ambassadorial role in developing the Workforce Analytics and Planning business of SuccessFactors. Peter is a former Chair of the School of Management Advisory Committee at the Queensland University of Technology. In 2003, was awarded the Outstanding Alumni award for the Faculty of Business at QUT. Peter is a Life Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
  • Viren Joseph

    Viren understands the journey that data makes from creation to insight and seeks to unlock its value. He’s spent the last decade working with Analytics and HANA at SAP across the Asia Pacific region, helping customers and partners understand why and how they adopt flagship technologies. Prior to that he was creating new machine learning and data mining algorithms as part of his Master’s degree.
  • John Kinnane

    John has 21 years’ experience in the IT industry. Since 2002 John has been managing projects and support teams in the IT areas of Energy Trading, ERP, Web Services and Workflow, Enterprise Application Integration and Business Intelligence. The last four years he has been a Principal Program Manager delivering Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management and Network systems for Energex and Ergon Energy. John is currently accountable for a portfolio including Analytical and Warehouse projects such as Distribution Monitoring and Analytics, Enterprise Business Intelligence, Data Discovery, KPI Refresh projects. Over the last two years John has delivered projects that have implemented HANA and other appliances.
  • Anna Reed-Stephenson

    Anna has had over 15 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong background in SAP. She started her career as an SAP HR Payroll Consultant and has not stopped in sharing her passion for SAP throughout her career. Serving in many diverse roles over the years ranging from implementations to IT Operations, Service Delivery and currently Head of IT for Corporate and New Energy at AGL, Anna has a deep understanding of how SAP can impact and shape the success of an organisation. She has worked in consulting, private sector and for SAP.

    With over 15 years’ experience in enterprise IT landscapes, David has focussed the on developing solutions for business intelligence, reporting, and analytic problems in business. During this time David has worked across both the above and below rail aspects of the rail industry, leading teams to deliver complex solutions in SAP and Non-SAP environments.

    In the role of Principle BI Technical Architect at Aurizon, David has set the strategic direction for technology to support company reporting and analytical capabilities. As part of the Aurizon IT Architecture team, David has worked closely with multiple SAP and 3rd party products to deliver against complex Business needs. Prior to Aurizon, David held various SAP-based roles (primarily SAP BW and ABAP) in Australia and Europe.

    Manager SAP University Competence Centre APJ

    David Taylor is the Manager/SAP Technical Architect for the SAP University Competence Centre Asia Pacific Japan at QUT. He has been a practising SAP Technical Specialist since 1998. Prior to joining QUT in 2011 David was the Global Manager of SAP Technical and Security Services Delivery for Syngenta AG in Basel Switzerland which is one of the world’s largest Agri-Science companies. David has also worked actively on 4 Global implementations involving the entire range of SAP products. David has been working in the IT industry since 1985.
  • Andrew Silvers

    Alliance Manager

    Andrew Silvers has over 30 years of local and international experience in the IT industry. He was appointed as the Alliances Manager ANZ for the Lenovo Enterprise Business Group in January 2015. In this role he is responsible for Lenovo’s enterprise solutions with its key partners Intel, SAP, Microsoft, Vmware, Nutanix etc. His involvement with SAP extends to working with many customers in ANZ, through to Lenovo’s development labs at SAP headquarters in Waldorf Germany.

    Tim has over 15 Years SAP experience with a key focus on analytics and data management. He has worked as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, and in other roles, and has designed operational reporting strategy for small and large multi-national enterprises across the globe. Working at EPI-USE Labs has given Tim visibility of lots of different systems and customer needs. He has worked closely with development teams and customers to make sure that what customers need is delivered and that products work. Tim believes that for him it is very much about understanding the nature of the problem and placing the right solution and right process to support that solution. He strives to get a solid process in place up front to ensure wide adoption by customers so they will realise huge benefits in automated processes, leaner environments and better reporting capability.
  • Darren Hadfield

    Chief Information Officer

    Darren Hadfield joined PanAust in 2011 as Group Information Systems Manager. He is responsible for leading the company’s Technology Strategy, Planning, Governance and Managing overall IT Operations and Customer Service. His initiatives include improving service delivery, transitioning infrastructure to an outsourced managed services agreement and implementing numerous production systems to support processing and mining operations. He also led the group wide implementation of a SAP Hana in-memory computing platform leveraging Fiori User Interface in a private hosted cloud environment. Prior to joining PanAust, Darren was the Information Systems Business Services Manager with BlueScope Steel responsible for IT Strategic Planning, Customer Engagement, Project Office and Infrastructure Services for the largest manufacturing facility in Australia. In prior roles, Darren worked for BHP as the principle IT auditor responsible for the delivery of all IT risk management and audit activates across the globe, numerous IT Service Delivery Management roles and Microsoft Australia managing global outsourcing vendors.
  • Paul Marriott

    Chief Operations Officer

    Paul Marriott is the Chief Operating Officer at SAP Asia Pacific Japan. In his role, Paul leads and directs the company’s business operations, drives growth strategies, including Digital Transformation, and provides customer and partner sponsorships across the region. An established business leader, Paul brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and specializes in accelerating new innovations to the market. He most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Database & Analytics solutions at SAP Asia Pacific Japan. In this role, Paul was instrumental in driving the business strategy and sales execution to meet the Database & Analytics licence revenue goals of the Asia Pacific Japan region, including the successful adoption of the SAP HANA platform. Prior to SAP Asia Pacific Japan, Paul spent more than 10 years at Oracle Corporation driving database and middleware strategy and customer adoption across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Europe. Outside of work, Paul has a keen interest in youth rugby. A qualified rugby coach, Paul is currently coaching the U10 squad at Tanglin Rugby Club, Singapore. Paul is based in Singapore.

    Andrew completed his Science Degree in Pharmacology and Physiology at Monash University in Melbourne. He has worked in IT since the mid-1990s, including working as a Computer Programmer for Mincom for more than a decade. Andrew joined SPARQ Solutions in 2008 where he has applied his knowledge and skills as a Senior Analyst Programmer, and more recently as the BI Apps Team Leader. He is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

    Luke is a Certified Process Professional Master with strong Energy industry experience in Process Governance and Architecture currently working through large scale projects. Luke is currently responsible for the successful delivery of the Ergon Energy Retail process model and Content Management System as part of the broader transformation program within the organisation.

    Dale Alexander is the SAP Solutions Lead at AusNet Services and has over 30 years of utility experience. He has been working with SAP since the 90’s and has been involved in 25 SAP projects across electricity, gas and water utilities both internationally and in Australia.

    Mick has successfully managed IT projects from both a business and technical perspective. Mick has extensive technological and project management spaning more than 17 years in the IT industry. Mick’s experience covers both the public and private sector including the delivery of projects in the Education, Insurance, Utilities, Councils, Recruitment and Technical Services. He is currently managing the successful delivery of $20M Portfolio to deliver analytics to Asset Management, a key enabler in stability for an organisation in the midst of significant industry change.
