  • Susan Foster

    Lecturer & SAUG SIG Lead, Organisational Change and Training

    Dr Susan Foster holds higher degree qualifications in a variety of discipline areas such as Psychology and information systems and has a number of SAP solution consultant certificates. Over the past 10 years Dr Foster has been heavily involved in developing SAP related curriculum and consulting across a number of countries. She is the SAP SIG lead for the Organizational Change and Training group.
  • Kerry Maidment-Grocke

    Kerry has been involved in SAP in one way or another since 1999. Originally as a Functional Analyst in the Sales and Distribution space for organizations such as Southcorp Wines, Codan and ABB Grain Kerry has been involved in implementations in Australia, the UK, USA and Ireland. Moving into the integration and architecture and governance space was a natural progression and originally being employed by ElectraNet for her SAP skills and setting up the in house support and enhancement team at ElectraNet Kerry is now responsible for all Business Systems planning and architecture at ElectraNet but of course retaining a special interest in SAP.

    Matt has over 17 years of experience with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and is the co-director and founder of Silfen, an SAP Services Partner specialising in HCM and Technical consulting. He believes strongly in presenting an independent view of SAP technologies and feels that good function and common sense will ultimately win the day. In the 80’s Matt liked water sports and raging but now enjoys a good chat and a cup of tea.
  • Andrew Ritchie

    Andrew is a senior IT executive, change agent and leader who is passionate about achieving strategic outcomes. He is the IT Program Manager at Officeworks and leads the IT Engagement Team including Project Management; Business Analysis; Solution Architecture; Training; Help Desk and IT Provisioning. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across Information Technology within the retail sector. Prior to Officeworks, he has held roles with Coles, Millers Retail, Big W and Toys R Us. Andrew is currently the Chairperson of SAUG.

  • Sascha Wenninger

    SAP Mentor, Co-founder & Consultant

    Sascha is a technical architect with a focus on integration topics such as SOA, RESTful API design and Process Orchestration. As a member of the Blue T team, he has been involved in building the Meistr.com mobile web app on Amazon Web Services, and it was this experience which sparked his interest in UI performance.

    A well-known figure in the SAP community, Tony has over 20 years industry related experience. In his capacity as an SAP Mentor, Tony has presented at several SAP events, authored several weblogs, and recently written an SAP Press book about managing SAP Custom Code. Tony also lectures 5th year SAP ERP Masters students at the Victoria University of Technology.

    Joanna Chan is a Senior Technical Specialist at Discovery Consulting and has been in the industry for a decade. Her particular interests lie in mobile and UI technologies and she is passionate about improving user experiences. During her career, Joanna has had extensive hands on experience with a variety of HR implementations, with opportunties to apply the most current technologies. When not doing SAP, Joanna enjoys fashion, playing the piano and eating really good food.
  • Alfonzo Venturi

    Chief Information Officer

    Alfonzo is the General Manager of Business Information Services at LeasePlan Australia, which forms part of the LeasePlan Group of companies spread across 36 countries. He is responsible for strategically planning and directing the Business Information Services Business Unit of the Leasing Services of LPAU and he is a member of the LeasePlan ICT Board. Alfonzo Joined LeasePlan in January 2013 to upgrade the SAP landscape and assumed GM role in June 2013. Alfonzo is experienced professional with over 20 years experience in implementing SAP and other ERP systems across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. He was the CIO at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services and was also the Project Manager in implementing SAP FI/CO across Europe and Africa. Since then Alfonzo has performed various CIO roles and most recently at MYI Freemans an Insurance loss Adjusting firm. Here they developed a mobile app for the loss adjusting industry that was award the Insurance innovation Award of the year in 2011.
  • KUEN-SANG LAM

    Director, Business Development, SAP on Oracle

    Lam is part of Oracle's Global SAP team focusing on promoting and helping SAP customers to optimize their SAP deployments with Oracle technology and infrastructure. He has extensive experiences with large SAP implementations, starting on SAP R/3 release 1 in 1992. During the 90's he was part of the SAP Asia's Regional Basis Consulting team and was also awarded Best BASIS Consultant (Regional by Les Hayman (former CEO/President, SAP Asia) in 1997. From 1997 Lam was with the Global Sun-SAP Competency Centre until 2010 when Sun Microsystems became part of the Oracle family.
  • Michael Dayaseela

    Michael is an experienced BI Architect Manager with almost 20 years of experience in the IT Industry, specialising in the last 10 years in SAP BW/BO/BI/HANA, in Australia, New Zealand & Japan. He has been involved in more than 9 complete life cycle BI/BW implementations of SAP BW/BI in the transportation, telecommunications, professional services, FMCG and utility industries. Michael has also been actively involved in the wider Business Intelligence community. He was the SAUG BI Melbourne SIG Lead since 2008. He also helped to start, and is currently SIG Lead for the HANA Melbourne SIG. Michael has also presented as a speaker and keynote panelist at international conferences such as the Reporting and Analytics Conference in Las Vegas.

He has worked for around 11 years with FICO modules in various industries such as Telecommunication, Utilities, Pharmaceutical, Automotive and Retail. Nathan prides himself on applying well-balanced visionary leadership and technical skills to support companies in achieving desired objectives within challenging, fast-changing business world.

  • Jamie Shen

    SAP CRM Principal Functional Consultant

    Jamie is a senior CRM functional consultant at SEEK who dabbles in ABAP and has a passion for simplified user interfaces. He has 9 years’ experience implementing CRM projects focusing on Sales and Interaction Centre in the Utilities and Online Media industries. In his spare time Jamie enjoys cycling and building rocket ships with his kids.
  • Gerhard Kuppler

    Mr. Kuppler has been responsible for the relationship between Oracle and SAP since 1999. He states that SAP on Oracle stands for global cooperation in database reselling, development and support services, in order to supply mutual customers with an optimized and customized combination of products. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kuppler worked five years in the Oracle EMEA account team and finally as the Director Global Alliances of Oracle Germany. Before joining Oracle in 1992, Mr. Kuppler started his career at German Telekom service division and then 12 years with Digital Equipment Corporation where he held several positions in the global account team for Volkswagen. His responsibilities at Digital included; strategy, development, advanced development research, product management, and marketing in the service division.
  • Grantly Mailes

    Chief Technology Advocate and Deputy Secretary

    Grantly Mailes is Victoria’s first Chief Technology Advocate. His focus in this role is to deliver better services, reduce waste, encourage innovation and improve ICT procurement across government.He also has the role of Deputy Secretary, Innovation, Services, Small Business and Technology at the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation; and he is Chair of VICTAC. Grantly has more than 15 years experience working with public sector and private organisations, advising on complex strategy, systems integration, outsourcing and procurement projects. Previously he was the inaugural Chief Information Officer for the Government of South Australia responsible for a number of major reforms in information technology.
  • Professor Jack Singh

    Director, Victoria

    Professor Jugdutt (Jack) Singh is the recently appointed Victorian Director for Australia’s National ICT Research Centre of Excellence, NICTA. Formerly, he was the Director and Research Professor at the Centre for Technology Infusion, La Trobe University in Melbourne, focusing on translational/commercial research and innovation in Information & Communications Technologies. He is also a member of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s Transport Expert Group and was General Chair of the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems 2014, which was hosted in Melbourne in June. Professor Singh has been involved in translational/commercial research, education and industry development projects of national/international significance for a number of years and has led a number of industry and government funded projects in transport, environment & energy, defence & space science, food & supply chain, health care and agriculture. He has widely published his findings as book chapters, journal articles, patents, peer reviewed conference papers and regularly delivers keynote/invited talks at scientific and business events. He is a board/committee member on number organisations and has established collaborative alliance with number of universities, research organisations and companies in Europe, USA, Asia and Australia.

    As Executive Director HR at La Trobe University, Fiona is responsible for Human Resources strategy and operations across all La Trobe University campuses. Fiona is an experienced Human Resources Executive with track record developing HR strategies aligned to the business and developing successful leaders. Before joining La Trobe she was Group Head of Talent Management at ANZ as well as Management Consultant.

  • Paul Holland

    Procurement Operations & Corporate Services Manager

    Like so many, Paul Holland didn’t have specific ambitions to work in procurement. But after his boss pulled him away from his usual duties to work on a procurement project, he found his niche and some 6 years has past! The Melburnian works for transport provider Transurban, where he is currently managing the implementation of the procurement transformation project. The company has chosen the Ariba solution and has just fully completed its implementation of the end to end Ariba solution which includes sourcing, contract management, supplier performance management, spend analysis and requisition to pay functions.

  • Simon Dorrat

    Simon is responsible for Toyota's Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and Innovation practice, including leading the creation of the Asia Pacific regional technology roadmap. With an extensive background in Architecture and BI, currently focussing on embedding strategic planning based on Business Capability Modelling to drive IT to Business Alignment, driving an MDM program and uplifting our Analytics capability throught he introduction of HANA.

  • Angus Rowe

    Angus has 20 years experience in IT and Human Resources spanning the mining, retail, manufacturing, consumer and transport sectors, both in Australia and the UK. Having worked on global projects in the SAP space, coupled with experience in various HR and IT roles he has the ability to develop relationships at all levels, building trust and influencing change.

    Shyam is an experienced CRM Techno/Functional consultant with over 15 years’ experience in SAP and various other technologies. His wealth of experience enables him to design and implement highly innovative solutions and simplified processes. In his spare time Shyam enjoys playing table tennis and watching movies.

    Louis is a member of the SAP Southern Region Leadership team reporting to Justin Williams, GM of the Southern Region. Louis joined SAP in March 2013, to promote SAP’s strategy to “Run Simple” by assisting Public Sector organisations to gain efficiencies through the adaption of standard business processes utilising SAP cloud technologies. Louis has responsibility for the development and execution of SAP’s strategy in Victorian based Public Sector organisations – Australia Post and the Victorian State Government. With over 25 years of IT delivery experience, Louis has previously worked in Consulting, IT & Application Management Outsourcing and Sales functions in HP, Accenture and National Mutual.
