    Adrian Fernando delivered Jemena’s first cloud based CRM project as well as the cloud based JAM and Lumira Solutions. Prior to the C4C implementation Adrian has been involved in four full cycle ERP Implementations. Prior to this, Adrian worked in Finance for many years. The experience he has gained working in senior finance and system roles has assisted him to view a project from an overall organisation perspective and develop and deliver system solutions that meet business requirements and add value to business process. Adrian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant , CPA, Provisional member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

    John specialises in SAP user interface technologies, mobile enablement, and web development technologies. He is a SAP community blogger, speaker at conferences such as Mastering Enterprise Mobility, and he is an SAP Mentor alumnus. In 2012 he co-founded Blue T to advise customers on their next gen SAP initiatives.
  • Andrew Ritchie

    Manager – IT Services, Officeworks, and Chairperson, SAUG

    Andrew is a senior IT executive, change agent and leader who is passionate about achieving strategic outcomes. He is the IT Program Manager at Officeworks and leads the IT Engagement Team including Project Management; Business Analysis; Solution Architecture; Training; Help Desk and IT Provisioning. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across Information Technology within the retail sector. Prior to Officeworks, he has held roles with Coles, Millers Retail, Big W and Toys R Us. Andrew is currently the Chairperson of SAUG.

    SAP Mentor, Co-founder & Consultant

    Sascha is a technical architect with a focus on integration topics such as SOA, RESTful API design and Process Orchestration. As a member of the Blue T team, he has been involved in building the Meistr.com mobile web app on Amazon Web Services, and it was this experience which sparked his interest in UI performance.

    Greg Hill currently holds the role of Director, Enterprise Applications at La Trobe University, and has close to 20 years within the ICT industry, having held various positions across a wide range of industries such as Food Manufacturing, Retail and now Higher Education. With his working experience in the IT industry, and his background in earlier finance roles, Greg has often been tasked with working with Business Executives to help deliver their strategies through the use of appropriate Business Systems and Applications. Greg finds the challenges that Businesses currently face with moving to a cloud platform, and the ever increasing use of mobile technologies, a significant interest.

    Director, Business Development, SAP on Oracle

    Lam is part of Oracle's Global SAP team focusing on promoting and helping SAP customers to optimize their SAP deployments with Oracle technology and infrastructure. He has extensive experiences with large SAP implementations, starting on SAP R/3 release 1 in 1992. During the 90's he was part of the SAP Asia's Regional Basis Consulting team and was also awarded Best BASIS Consultant (Regional by Les Hayman (former CEO/President, SAP Asia) in 1997. From 1997 Lam was with the Global Sun-SAP Competency Centre until 2010 when Sun Microsystems became part of the Oracle family.
  • Michael Dayaseela

    Manager Business Intelligence and SAUG SIG Lead, HANA Melbourne

    Michael is an experienced BI Architect Manager with almost 20 years of experience in the IT Industry, specialising in the last 10 years in SAP BW/BO/BI/HANA, in Australia, New Zealand & Japan. He has been involved in more than 9 complete life cycle BI/BW implementations of SAP BW/BI in the transportation, telecommunications, professional services, FMCG and utility industries. Michael has also been actively involved in the wider Business Intelligence community. He was the SAUG BI Melbourne SIG Lead since 2008. He also helped to start, and is currently SIG Lead for the HANA Melbourne SIG. Michael has also presented as a speaker and keynote panelist at international conferences such as the Reporting and Analytics Conference in Las Vegas.

Anthony has been part of successful implementation and upgrade projects across the FMCG industry. Recently involved with ECC and APO upgrades, HANA sidecar implementation, SolMan upgrade, GRC AC upgrade and Data Centre migrations.

    Phil is a senior SAP Consultant with over 20 years’ experience in architecting, designing and realising complex business processes in the SD/LE, CRM, CO-PA, EDI-B2B Integration areas and more recently in SAP Hybris Cloud For Customer. Although he is highly technical, Phil has a strong focus on user experience. He is a self-confessed FIORI lover and has implemented FIORI applications on-premise and in the Cloud via HCP.

  • Clare Fudala

    Clare Fudala is a Learning Consultant with Dexler Education (Australia) Pty Ltd. Prior to joining Dexler, Clare was a Senior SAP Functional Analyst with CS Energy Ltd, a Queensland Generation Company. She has more than 12 years of experience in SAP projects and operations, with deep experience in HR and LSO, and the Procurement/Materials Management modules of SAP. In her current role as a Learning Consultant, Clare provides extensive knowledge of SAP Workforce Performance Builder (WPB) and has worked with a number of SAP clients including Fisher and Paykel Healthcare, Synergy and Ok Tedi to implement WPB.

    Elena Simon is a senior learning consultant with Dexler Education (Australia). She has over 17 years of demonstrated broad experience in developing, executing and evaluating learning initiatives and solutions to help organisations achieve business objectives. Elena has extensive experience in the authoring and publishing of learning materials using eLearning tools and technology. She has delivered SAP Workforce Performance Builder (WPB) authoring and administration courses to SAP clients including WesTrac, Devondale Murray Goulburn and SA Power Networks. Prior to joining Dexler, Elena was a senior learning consultant with IBM Global Business Services.

    Georgia has over 17 yrs experience in Collaboration, Intranet and Information Management technologies. The majority of her working career has been in the Mining Industry (BHP Billiton, MMG). She has also worked in FMCG, Manufacturing and Retail industries. Georgia has a background in Marketing and IT which has ensured her focus in always on balancing user needs with a practical and sustainable implementation approach. She works in close partnership with SAP architects striving to extract value from the company’s strategic platforms through positive and productive user experience. Georgia has been instrumental in the successful delivery of a Unified Approvals facility for managers which has been live for 7 months and already resulted in measureable improvements to the efficient processing of SAP workflow approvals and achieved a high rate of user satisfaction and adoption from all levels of Management.

    David Johnson is a seasoned professional in the User Adoption space having spent around 25 years advising and assisting customers implementing and running SAP in their businesses. As Head of User Adoption for SAP in Asia Pacific and Japan, David is responsible for crafting services and solutions to help customers succeed in realising and extending the value of their SAP investment. Prior to SAP, David has worked in the SAP Ecosystem specialising in IT education, organisational change management, and user adoption.  Most recently, David was chief executive of the Cubic Group (including Cubic Consulting and Cubic Resources) and prior to this was with Accenture and DA Consulting Group. 

  • James Canale

    James is currently part of the Field Services finance team, providing project accountant support to the major projects group. The major projects group includes 115 active projects within an annual capital spend of approximately $80m. As a project accountant at SA Power Networks he is accountable for the provision of relevant, reliable and timely financial management information and advice to both Project Managers and senior Operational & Financial Managers. Previously, he worked as a Financial Analyst and was a management analyst to the Network Management Finance Group. His focus throughout his career has been on innovation, aiming to deliver timely, accurate financial information through enhanced reporting tools and techniques.

    Josef is a Learning Consultant with over 15 years in the education industry, including teaching, coordinating, and instructional design and learning consultant. pecialising in blended Instructor Led and eLearning content development. Josef is the winner of multiple awards through Swinburne University for innovation. Nominated as Victorian Teacher of the year, and selected to travel internationally for specialised training in Content Management Systems and Assessment Management Systems.

  • Anna Manojlovic

    IT Strategy & Architecture Manager

    Anna has over 20 years of experience in IT, from running IT Operations to managing IT Strategy and Architecture across multiple industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, logistic, finance and energy. She has a strong and wide ranging background in information which includes leading data management programs, consulting, analytics and data warehousing, and principal information architecture. Anna started her working career as an electrical engineer in research & development working on nuclear and non-conventional equipment.

  • Pierre Cassano

    SAP HANA Innovation - Analytics Architect

    With over 21 years with SAP Australia, Pierre has seen many of the SAP innovations some of us take for granted. Pierre comes from a strong logistics consulting background, and moved into the analytics space with the introduction of BW in the late 90’s. Since then he has been deeply involved within Analytics, and more recently the HANA platform. Having formed and led the HANA Consulting team in ANZ during the early roll out day of HANA, Pierre spends most of his time these days consulting to regional customers. He still maintains an Analytics focus mostly centred around architecture and strategy. However his current role also sees a diverse mix of Go To Market and sales support activities.

  • Dirk Basenach

    Senior Vice President, SAP HANA Cloud Platform and Platform Security

    Dirk is responsible for product management of SAP HANA Cloud Platform which is SAP’s Platform as a Service offering and head of development for platform security and SAP security products like Identity Management and Single Sign-On. Previously, Dirk lead various product development teams in SAP’s technology group like user interface infrastructure, content management and collaboration.
