  • Grahame Reynolds

    Qenos Pty Ltd

    Grahame Reynolds has played a significant role in the SAP User Group Executive Network having represented SAUG for the past two years at several meetings and lead the SUGEN Upgrades Charter Team. Grahame was also the SAUG Chairman for three years and prior to that he held the position of Treasurer and has been responsible for Special Interest Groups. Prior to joining the SAUG Committee Grahame was the leader of the Upgrades SIG. Grahame holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Elect, Honours) and a Master of Engineering Management Degree and has 30 years’ experience in the food and petrochemical industries. Grahame has significant project management experience having worked in the SAP area for nearly 14 years. Grahame has managed several system upgrades and implementations and is an SAP Certified Consultant in Plant Maintenance. Grahame currently works for Qenos Pty Ltd as a Senior Business Analyst.

    Global Chief Information Officer

    John is an achievement driven and self-motivated individual with many years working experience in the information technology industry. His experience, gained in a diverse number of industries, includes CIO roles, strategic planning, international ICT operations, project direction, sales of services and products, outsourcing and facilities management, business process development/re-engineering and customer relationship management. In his current role at Toll Group John is the Global CIO and is responsible for identifying how technologies can be best used to enable our Toll to focus on the customer by delivering visibility, efficiency and effectiveness across all that Toll does for our customers.

    Peter is currently the CIO for MMG. Previously he spent a number of years at BHP Billiton, in a variety of global positions including Group Manager IT Strategy, CIO Marketing and CIO Petroleum.
  • Alfonzo Venturi

    LeasePlan Australia
    Chief Information Officer

    Alfonzo is the General Manager of Business Information Services at LeasePlan Australia, which forms part of the LeasePlan Group of companies spread across 36 countries. He is responsible for strategically planning and directing the Business Information Services Business Unit of the Leasing Services of LPAU and he is a member of the LeasePlan ICT Board. Alfonzo Joined LeasePlan in January 2013 to upgrade the SAP landscape and assumed GM role in June 2013. Alfonzo is experienced professional with over 20 years experience in implementing SAP and other ERP systems across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. He was the CIO at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services and was also the Project Manager in implementing SAP FI/CO across Europe and Africa. Since then Alfonzo has performed various CIO roles and most recently at MYI Freemans an Insurance loss Adjusting firm. Here they developed a mobile app for the loss adjusting industry that was award the Insurance innovation Award of the year in 2011.

  • Greg Hill

    Throughout his career, Greg has held many IT based roles across a wide range of industries. Some of these industries include FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail and more recently Higher Education, and has mostly worked for businesses that have adopted SAP as their core ERP solution. With his working experience in the industry, and his background in earlier Finance roles, Greg has often worked alongside Business Executives to help them deliver their strategies, through the use of appropriate Business Applications and Architecture. Recently, Greg has started up his own consulting firm, and is working with companies to help them realise the benefits and challenges that lie ahead transforming to cloud based platforms. Greg can often be found presenting at user groups and conferences around the country, or delivering industry based lectures to students, presenting the lessons he learned whilst working in businesses that were on the leading edge of cloud technologies, and is passionate not only about the technology’s available, but also the ‘human’ side of these expansive transformational programmes, along with the ever increasing challenge of improving the overall user experience.

  • John Ruthven

    President and Managing Director

    John Ruthven is President and Managing Director of SAP Australia and New Zealand. In his role, Ruthven is responsible for all customer operations across the two countries, helping organisations of all sizes and across 25 industries to simplify their operations and equip for the increasingly digital and global economy. He joined SAP in January 2014 as the Regional Lead for Cloud and Line of Business Solutions across the SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. Ruthven transitioned to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for SAP ANZ in August 2014, where he led SAP’s local Presales, Industry Value Engineering and Sales Operations teams. Ruthven has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, in local, regional and global functions across management and sales operations, including Senior Vice President of International Sales at Zuora Inc. and General Manager of Emerging Markets at CA Technologies.

  • Holger Mueller

    Vice President & Principal Analyst, ex SAP Chief Applications Architect

    Holger Mueller is Vice President and Principal Analyst for Constellation Research for the fundamental enablers of cloud, IaaS, PaaS and next generation Applications, with forays up the tech stack into BigData and Analytics, HR Tech, and SaaS. As a world renowned advisor and commentator, Holger provides strategy and counsel to key clients, including Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Product Officers, Chief HR Officers, investment analysts, venture capitalists, sell side firms and technology buyers. Holger was Chief Application Architect with SAP, working on strategic projects and next generation product capabilities and worked in the Office of the Chairman, Hasso Plattner. He was also VP of Products for FICO, creating the foundation for the current Enterprise Decision Management Suite. Holger has also worked for Oracle in various management functions both on the application development (CRM, Fusion) and business development side. Holger started his career with Kiefer & Veittinger, which he helped grow from a startup to Europe’s largest CRM vendor from 1995 onwards. There he helped spearhead offshore development in Bangalore, India, where the previous K&V Lab is now SAP Labs Bangalore.   • Sven Denecken

    Global Vice President, Co-Innovation and Strategy

    Sven Denecken is SAP Global Vice President, Co-Innovation and Strategy SAP S/4HANA at SAP SE. In this role, Sven is constantly assessing customer and market requirements and supporting SAP´s Business Suite 4 SAP HANA strategy. Via Co-Innovation projects he discovers key trends and best practices in the application of new technologies. Sven’s experience working with customers, partners, SAP´s field organisation and industry analysts allows him to bring client issues and challenges directly into the solution development process, assuring that the next generation software solutions address customer requirements to focus on business outcome and help customers gain competitive advantage.He supports SAP´s solutions strategy and its alignment with customers, the ecosystem and SAP´s field organization. Through co-Innovation with market constituents and SAP´s engineering organisation he helps facilitate and enable sustainable relationships between SAP, customers, industries and partners.

  • Martin Bachmaier

    Senior IT Architect

    Martin is one of the key architects for Lenovo’s Solutions Development organisation focused on SAP. Based in Stuttgart Germany, he frequently travels to meet with customers across the world, including Australia, providing workshops on how to architect SAP HANA solutions. Given the rising importance of SAP HANA installations, he is continuously driving performance and availability improvements for HA clusters and DR environments. He is the joint author of 'In-memory Computing with SAP HANA on Lenovo X6 Systems' available from Lenovo Press.
