Over the past 10 years Dr Foster has been heavily involved in developing SAP related curriculum and consulting across a number of countries. She is the SAP SIG lead for the Organizational Change and Training group.

  • Paul Swain

    Paul made a transition from manufacturing line management 20 years ago to join a rapidly growing ERP software company called SAP and he’s been on the SAP journey ever since. That journey includes many of the early years in leadership roles working with customers on end-to-end SAP Business Suite Implementations. Along the way, Paul applied his supply chain and logistics expertise with customers in Europe and Asia. Paul has been on the sales side of SAP as a Presales Manager for several years with a team of senior Customer Solution Managers. From 2016, he is now focussed on guiding customers on the S/4HANA pathway.

He is passionate about cloud and helps his customers to realise and re-imagine their business processes with emerging technology.

    Clint has almost 20 years of SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology experience. Since being actively involved in the first SAP IQ installation in South Africa back in 1997, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience using SAP HANA, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services and the SAP BusinessObjects suite of products. He has been involved in many large-scale SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology implementations and is a globally-known and renowned keynote speaker who regularly presents at many of the major SAP conferences and local user group events and has sat on various panel discussions. In 2012, Clint was selected as Africa's first ever SAP Mentor. He is currently based in Australia and is the Managing Partner for APJ for EV Technologies, an SAP Partner and Authorised Education Partner in the SAP Ecosystem.

  • Paul Marriott

    Paul Marriott is Senior Vice President of Digital Core at SAP Asia Pacific Japan. In this role he leads all regional sales teams for ERP (i.e., SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Business One, SAP Business byDesign), SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing. An established IT and business leader with more than 20 years of experience, he most recently served as the region’s Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he led a successful cloud transformation program, established focus on the region’s strategic partners, incorporated social impact activities, sponsored an Early Talent program, as well as supported the development of the Asia Soaring strategy which he operationalized through the COO go-to-market process. Paul also provided executive sponsorship to many customers across the region, building a strong customer base and supporting SAP’s strategy to put customer’s first. Prior to this, Paul successfully served as the Senior Vice President of Database & Analytics solutions for the region where he was instrumental in driving the business strategy and sales execution to meet the Database & Analytics license and revenue goals, including the successful adoption of the SAP HANA platform. Before joining SAP, Paul spent more than 10 years at Oracle Corporation driving database and middleware strategy and customer adoption across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Europe. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in both Applied Physics & Computer Science from Staffordshire University as well as a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex. Outside of work, Paul has a keen interest in youth rugby and coaches the U10 squad at the Tanglin Rugby Club in Singapore.

    Andreas is Solution Manager for Analytics, BI and Predictive, for SAP ANZ. With a background in mathematics, he joined Business Objects in Europe in 2005 as Presales, looking after mainly Financial Services customers in Switzerland. Since 2008, Andreas has been living in Melbourne and working for SAP Australia, helping customers across ANZ understand and realise the value of BI and Predictive solutions. Having completed his MBA at the University of Melbourne, Andreas has recently joined the Centre of Excellence team at SAP Australia, looking after the BI and Predictive solution portfolio. Andreas has a passion for analysing numbers and big data, turning hidden patterns and trends into meaningful pictures that serve Science and Businesses run better and achieve better outcomes.

    Pierre is a senior solution advisor in the SAP Platform and Data Management Centre of Excellence. With more than 15 years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence, Pierre started a new journey with the launch of SAP Hana in 2011. He experienced firsthand how early adopters used this platform to materially transform and accelerate their business models. This made him extremely passionate about in-memory computing and helping organisations understand how this can help them deliver an Intelligent Enterprise by effectively dealing with today’s tsunami data.

    Michael has over 17 years’ experience in the domains of data mining and predictive analytics, working in key roles for organisations such as BHP, Telstra, Coles, ANZ Bank and Airbus. His current focus is on building cost-effective, state-of-the-art machine learning solutions, leveraging an enterprise’s existing technology assets by marrying the old with the new. Apart from overseeing the operational aspects of K2Fly, Navin is also responsible for strategic partnerships, product commercialisation and identifying new and emerging markets. Navin’s strength is his highly analytical and leadership skills with a practical approach to finding winning solutions for all stakeholders.

    Jeff is a seasoned SAP commercial and contract expert whose career has spanned 26 years of SAP experience across Europe, the Middle East and Australia & New Zealand. Jeff spent eight years with Accenture developing a very successful SAP consulting practice before building an advisory business consulting to large European customers with their own SAP transformations. In 2004, Jeff joined SAP with a remit to lead large deals facilitating negotiations across customers, consulting companies and software vendors and more recently lead SAP's Ariba cloud business across AN&Z. Since leaving SAP, Jeff now manages a boutique advisory business, Libertas Partners, with a number of other ex-SAP executives utilizing their diverse SAP background to support customers to better understand and manage their SAP risk profile and software compliance exposure, minimizing unnecessary licensing costs and ensuring future licensing security and flexibility.

    Simon is a Deputy Commissioner in the Office of State Revenue, a division of Queensland Treasury, and member of the Senior Executive Team. Simon’s particular responsibilities are to lead the enabling divisions of OSR, including policy and legislation, objections and litigation, debt management, information technology services, risk and analytics functions, and relevantly OSR’s Transformation Program. Simon has over 20 years’ experience across all revenue lines and functions in State revenue offices, and Treasury functions including policy and portfolio reviews.

He has worked in regional Support teams both in Walldorf and Sydney. As part of the SAP Premium Engagement programs he has supported and safeguarded customer implementation and upgrade projects as team lead and team member. More recently he has been working with customers as Technical Quality Manager (TQM) preparing for the journey to SAP S/4HANA In his capacity as Security Expert for PE Security Services Wolfgang was asked to participate in the EU GDPR enablement workshop in Walldorf in 2017 to advise customers of the upcoming introduction of the laws and of SAP tools and services suitable to help achieve GDPR compliance.

    Spatial Expert in Global SAP HANA Center of Excellence

    Tom Turchioe is the spatial expert in Global SAP HANA Center of Excellence. He has done extensive testing with alpha and beta versions of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and the HANA enterprise geodatabase and worked with Esri development during that process. He also developed the patterns which show how the HANA enterprise geodatabase could be utilized in common deployment scenarios. Tom has also written blogs on SAP Community (https://www.sap.com/community.html) on ArcGIS/HANA integration and the enterprise geodatabase. Tom is on the Esri Partner Advisory Council as the SAP representative. Before Tom returned to SAP he was the CTO at Critigen, an Esri Platinum partner and SAP partner. There, he was a key element in the creation of the ArcGIS – SAP integration business.
