  • Damien Bueno

    General Manager – Federal Government and Defence

    Damien Bueno is General Manager, Federal & Defence, based in Canberra. He joined SAP in 2007 from IBM, where he was Head of Public Sector Solution, within IBM Global Services. Within his four years at IBM, Damien was instrumental in growing IBM’s business in Federal government, with IBM securing key transformational projects in his four year tenure. Prior to IBM, Damien co-founded AlphaBlox Australia, a boutique BI/Data Warehousing Consultancy and product development company, which was acquired by IBM. At AlphaBlox, he was Sales and Marketing Director, where as a start-up, AlphaBlox was awarded major business in the Telecommunications and Banking markets in Australia. Previously, Damien held the position of Managing Director of Hyperion, ANZ. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Graduate Diploma in in Advance Finance from Monash University and is also a Certified Practicing Accountant.

    Alexandra is the Head of Analytics at BI Group Australia and SAP Mentor. A recognised thought leader in the Analytics space, published author and internationally acclaimed speaker, Alexandra has more than 20 years of experience in SAP focusing on Analytics, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Information Management. Alexandra’s capabilities and strengths are not only in being an expert in the technical domain area, but also in her interpersonal dynamics – specifically her ability to relate to people and break down complex topics, explaining them in a frame that takes the “mystique” out of a topic that traditionally is extremely complex in nature. With great passion for delivering innovative solutions that create true business value, Alexandra has been presenting and writing on the latest SAP technologies: HANA, S/4HANA, BusinessObjects Cloud, Big Data, the Internet of Things, and Digital Transformation.

    Craig Nicholls currently holds the role of SAP Technical Team Lead at CSIRO, and has close to 20 years within the Public Sector and Professional Services industries, having held various senior SAP positions across a number of Commonwealth Agencies, and provided consultancy services to major transformational projects. Craig is committed to finding innovative and sustainable solutions to enable Business to achieve its outcomes. Craig is a passionate football fan, golfer, and loves to travel with his family.
  • Jacki Phillips

    Dept of Infrastructure and Regional Development
    SAP Business Intelligence Lead & SAUG SIG Lead BI Canberra

    Jacki is the SAP Business Intelligence Lead at the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. She is responsible for the SAP BW reporting and budgeting solutions within the Department. Jacki has over 12 years SAP BW experience, is a CPA and has been the SIG Lead for the SAUG BI Canberra SIG for the past 5 years.
  • Julie Prater

    Director Corporate Services Systems

    Julie has over 30 years of experience working in the Public Sector. She is recognised for her professional experience in project management, strategy development and implementation across business and IT environments - demonstrated by the significant contributions made in delivering business driven projects in both the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) in the UK and now for the past 8 years supporting Corporate Services in the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). With the future demands of modern Government and the explosion of cloud based Software As a Service models, Julie is working towards the implementation and business Support of cloud technologies and the transition of systems from Business As Usual (BAU) into the new world.
  • Steve Bloomfield

    Dept of Parliamentary Services
    SAP System Administrator & UX Lead

    Steve Bloomfield has worked at the Department of Parliamentary Services since leaving the Defence Force. Steve has experience across a diverse background including Logistics, Maintenance Services, Contract Management and Procurement. He was a key functional user of the PM, FICO & MM modules since the original implementation of SAP (version 3.1H) in 1998 for the former Joint House Department. Steve joined the SAP Systems Administration team following his secondment as Plant Maintenance SME to the ECC5 upgrade program in 2006. Since then he has built a broad knowledge base of all SAP modules and functionality implemented in DPS. Steve is currently managing the delivery of the User Experience transformation at Parliament House for the DPS Corporate Systems upgrade.
  • Andrew Ritchie

    Manager – IT Services, Officeworks, and Chairperson, SAUG

    Andrew is a senior IT executive, change agent and leader who is passionate about achieving strategic outcomes. He is the IT Program Manager at Officeworks and leads the IT Engagement Team including Project Management; Business Analysis; Solution Architecture; Training; Help Desk and IT Provisioning. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across Information Technology within the retail sector. Prior to Officeworks, he has held roles with Coles, Millers Retail, Big W and Toys R Us. Andrew is currently the Chairperson of SAUG.

  • Jocelyn Dart

    SAP Asia Pacific Japan
    SAP Mentor, Platinum Consultant & User Experience Strategist

    Jocelyn Dart is a User Experience Strategist at SAP Australia and has a special interest in both Fiori and Accessibility. She has been an advocate and promoter for Fiori and great UX over the last 3 years. Jocelyn works with both Federal and State agencies, as well as the private sector. She currently facilitates the Public Sector UX Working Group where Accessibility is a core topic of interest.
  • Mat Rogers

    Customer Solutions

    Mat is an experienced ICT professional and leader that has extensive experience delivering across ICT Infrastructure, Security, Applications and Business Development. Mat has worked for Defence, multiple leading private sector service providers as well as multiple Federal Government Department. Mat has assisted in the development of and implementation of ICT Strategy and has conducted reviews across several departments covering various ICT systems and lifecycles. Mat has led several large organisational changing SAP programs across the ERP and CRM platforms. Mat specialises in bringing organisational change through the successful implementation of large scale programs that deliver significant business value. Mat recently completed a large SAP program of work at Parliament House before joining SAP in the Customer Solutions area which helps bridge understanding between public sector requirements and SAP solutions.
  • Clint Vosloo

    SAP Mentor and Managing Partner

    Clint has almost 20 years of SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology experience. Since being actively involved in the first SAP IQ installation in South Africa back in 1997, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience using SAP HANA, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services and the SAP BusinessObjects suite of products. He has been involved in many large-scale SAP Analytics and SAP Database & Technology implementations and is a globally-known and renowned speaker who regularly presents at many of the major SAP conferences and local user group events and has sat on various panel discussions. In 2012, Clint was selected as Africa's first ever SAP Mentor. He is currently based in Australia and is the Managing Partner for APJ for EV Technologies, an SAP Partner, SAP Authorized Education Partner and a Software Solutions in the SAP Ecosystem.
  • Viren Joseph

    Viren understands the journey that data makes from creation to insight and seeks to unlock its value. He’s spent the last decade working with Analytics and HANA at SAP across the Asia Pacific region, helping customers and partners understand why and how they adopt flagship technologies. Prior to that he was creating new machine learning and data mining algorithms as part of his Master’s degree.
  • Aiyaswami Mohan

    Aiyaswami Mohan (Mohan) took over the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Department of Defence in June 2014. Prior to joining the Australian Public Service Mohan enjoyed a long career in the private sector ICT industry working for Toll Group, Optus, Satyam Computers, Coles Myer, Mercator Software, Haltek and Citicorp India. Mohan has a Bachelor of Engineering with several trainings in areas of technologies, leadership, financial and project managements. Mohan has held a broad range of roles covering all areas of information technology and has conceived, developed and implemented ground breaking technology products and solutions as part of his roles at Haltek, HiServ, Mercator and Satyam. Mohan also led the Enterprise Integration function at Coles Myer during their transformation program and the Enterprise Architecture Transition Program for Optus.

  • Lorraine Longato

    Value Engineering Director - Procurement & Business Networks ANZ

    Lorraine joined the Ariba team in 2014 which became part of SAP and she leads the Value Engineering (VE) function for the ANZ region. Lorraine has nearly 20 years industry experience across a range of sectors covering FMCG, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Heavy Freight & Logistics, ITC Management Platforms, Energy and Sustainability, with the past seven years focused on Strategic Procurement and Change Management Initiatives. Most recently, as Procurement Strategic Specialist, she led a major whole of Government Utilities strategy, as part of the procurement transformation division of the Queensland Government. Lorraine has strong industry networks, having held roles representing industry on the Queensland Chamber of Commerce and two Parmalat JV (Joint Venture) boards. She is an active contributor to procurement associations, including the Faculty Round Table, CIPSA and Procurious (Foundation Member).
  • Andrew Silvers

    Alliance Manager

    Andrew Silvers has over 30 years of local and international experience in the IT industry. He was appointed as the Alliances Manager ANZ for the Lenovo Enterprise Business Group in January 2015. In this role he is responsible for Lenovo’s enterprise solutions with its key partners Intel, SAP, Microsoft, Vmware, Nutanix etc. His involvement with SAP extends to working with many customers in ANZ, through to Lenovo’s development labs at SAP headquarters in Waldorf Germany.
  • Tim Barker

    Tim has over 15 Years SAP experience with a key focus on analytics and data management. He has worked as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, and in other roles, and has designed operational reporting strategy for small and large multi-national enterprises across the globe. Working at EPI-USE Labs has given Tim visibility of lots of different systems and customer needs. He has worked closely with development teams and customers to make sure that what customers need is delivered and that products work. Tim believes that for him it is very much about understanding the nature of the problem and placing the right solution and right process to support that solution. He strives to get a solid process in place up front to ensure wide adoption by customers so they will realise huge benefits in automated processes, leaner environments and better reporting capability.
  • Sam Johnston

    CSC Australia
    Chief Technology Officer

    Sam is an Australian technology executive and serial entrepreneur with 20 years experience founding and advising startups and working with industry leaders including Google,Citrix and Equinix. Sam is currently the chief technology officer at CSC in ANZ, where he is responsible for driving the development of next generation technology solutions to benefit clients' digital transformations. He is focused on securing and growing CSC's largest and most strategic accounts and actively contributes to the product roadmap, innovation and prototyping of next generation technologies. He is also a subject matter expert and thought leader,regularly representing the company at international events. Sam previously served in London as Director of Cloud and IT Services at Equinix, setting and executing their cloud strategy, working on the design and delivery of new products and services including Cloud Exchange,as well as global accounts, partnerships and public, analyst and investor relations. Prior to Equinix, Sam worked in Zürich as the Technical Program Manager for Google’s near line and offline storage service, a global Internet scale storage system. He also worked with teams and vendors on servers, software, robotics, networks and data centres, and was the cloud standards lead, having published a peer-reviewed paper on interoperability.
  • David Finocchiaro

    Assistant Director Business Development

    As Assistant Director of Business Development for the Shared Services Centre (SSC), David is responsible for the SSC’s government IT sales consultancy and has extensive experience in developing robust frameworks for improving agency engagement with third parties. David has over 10 years experience in the public and private sectors, having worked on implementing large-scale projects such as the switch from analog to digital television as a Programme Manager for the Australian Communications and Media Authority, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) as a System Integration Manager for one of the largest Australian bank scale IT CRM projects ‘’ÇommSee’’. As a Business Banking Manager for both the National Australia Bank and CBA for several years he is experienced in financial services, customer engagement, business needs requirements and strategic management. His other work was primarily in Programme and Policy for the jobactive employment services programme operated by the Department of Employment the largest procurement programme outside of Defence.
  • Levin Forrest

    Senior Managing Consultant

    Levin Forrest is a Senior Managing Consultant in the Lenovo Enterprise Professional Services team in Canberra, Australia. He is part of the team implementing and migrating the Lenovo System x solutions for SAP HANA. Levin has a deep background in designing, implementing and managing scale-out data centres, VDI clusters, and cloud environments. Levin has extensive experience in the configuration and migration activities of SAP HANA running on both SuSE and RHEL platforms. His abilities extend to providing Level 3 Support across the Asia Pacific region for the x86 Server platform. Levin’s experience in Consultancy includes Business Process development and project stakeholder management and he has worked with a wide range of clients across the Federal Government and the private sector.
  • Heather McCafferty

    Director Smarter Data Program

    Heather has over 10 years’ experience working for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). She is recognised for her change management and project management skills. Some of the projects she has led include Identity Crime, Process Improvements and implementation of new software. Current focus is on implementing SAFe Lean Agile processes across Smarter Data and the ATO.
