His experience includes multiple finance, sales, marketing, manufacturing, data management, BI, ERP, CRM and HRIS solution implementations, the regionalisation of services, application harmonisation exercises, (in, out, off & on) (re)sourcing solutions, as well as numerous infrastructure projects, all across multiple industries, geographies and cultures. Through his unique experience in architecture, sport and technology, Matthew has developed a pragmatic, empowering and visionary leadership style. Fortunate enough to hold various domestic, regional and global roles and based in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Singapore, Mexico and the USA, Matthew has delighted in helping to build commercially focused and agile IT organisations. After many years away, Matthew is rediscovering the delights of Melbourne, and the coffees of Hawthorn.

  • Paul Marriott

    Paul Marriott is Senior Vice President of Digital Core at SAP Asia Pacific Japan. In this role he leads all regional sales teams for ERP (i.e., SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Business One, SAP Business byDesign), SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing. An established IT and business leader with more than 20 years of experience, he most recently served as the region’s Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he led a successful cloud transformation program, established focus on the region’s strategic partners, incorporated social impact activities, sponsored an Early Talent program, as well as supported the development of the Asia Soaring strategy which he operationalized through the COO go-to-market process. Paul also provided executive sponsorship to many customers across the region, building a strong customer base and supporting SAP’s strategy to put customer’s first. Prior to this, Paul successfully served as the Senior Vice President of Database & Analytics solutions for the region where he was instrumental in driving the business strategy and sales execution to meet the Database & Analytics license and revenue goals, including the successful adoption of the SAP HANA platform. Before joining SAP, Paul spent more than 10 years at Oracle Corporation driving database and middleware strategy and customer adoption across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Europe. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in both Applied Physics & Computer Science from Staffordshire University as well as a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex. Outside of work, Paul has a keen interest in youth rugby and coaches the U10 squad at the Tanglin Rugby Club in Singapore.

Chris is implementing the new SAP digital suite across the global enterprise displacing legacy web, CRM and marketing assets to achieve a fully connected platform with the customer being at the absolute centre of it all.

    Michael has 25 years+ extensive IT Strategy and Operations expertise across Oil & Gas, FMCG, Energy, Facilities, Manufacturing, Mining, consulting to IT and software development for a range companies including start-ups, SMEs, Australian Corporates and multi-nationals. His expertise includes operations, business systems, software development and specialist ERP knowledge. Michael aligns technology to business strategy to achieve growth, in strong support of the sales, operations, finance, asset management and supply chain functions. Michael is heavily involved in Oil Search’s SAP implementation as a member of the steering committee, project working group and as the business process owner for non-functional requirements.

    Peter is General Manager and co-lead of the industries organisation of SAP. He and his team are globally responsible for the SAP business with companies and organisations in the following industries: Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, High Tech, Industrial Machinery and Components, Chemicals, Defence & Security, Mill Products & Mining, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Public Sector, and Travel & Transportation, Sports. Peter and his team lead the definition and delivery of intelligent solutions that enable customers to sustainably optimise, extend, and transform their business and their organisation. Peter also drives the SAP Roadmaps program that gives customers clear guidance to the intelligent suite and to the SAP digital platform – both powered by SAP’s intelligent technologies. To scale the SAP guidance for customers to become intelligent enterprises, Peter has overseen the design and delivery of the award-winning SAP Transformation Navigator – a free self-service available to customers and SAP partners. Previously, Peter has served as General Manager of the Energy and Natural Resources industries, after leading Industry Solution Management, Line of Business Solutions, Field Enablement, Global Industry and Line of Business Solution Marketing, and Solution Management for Process Industries. Peter joined SAP in 1991 as a consultant for the chemical industry. In 1995 he assumed responsibility for global business development for the oil & gas industry. He is a valued expert for trends, challenges and best practices in the process industries and has earned the trust of strategic customers as an executive sponsor. Peter is connected to executives and experts from customers, partners, and influencers across the energy and natural resources industries and beyond.

    Mani Pirouz is the head of Corporate Portfolio at SAP. His team is responsible for driving and providing guidance to the Executive Board on all investment decisions regarding SAP’s product portfolio and related business models needed for advancing the company’s business strategy. His role spans from strategy and investments in product development, go-to-market, service and cloud delivery, to product integration and product development delivery management. To make this possible, Mani is an extended member of the leadership teams of SAP’s executive board areas for Product & Innovation, Cloud Business, and Global Customer Operations. Mani has more than 15 years of enterprise software experience across product, sales, marketing and general management roles at SAP SE, Salesforce and in the related ISV ecosystem (Kenshoo, Vlocity, and GMS Development). Since 2004 he has helped pioneer cloud-based CRM solutions across various vertical industries.
