SEC & National Summit 2025
On September 2, the SAUG National Summit brought together almost 300 attendees at Doltone House in Sydney for a fantastic and insightful day of learning and networking. We were privileged to hear from outstanding speakers, including Robert Weller, SAP Global Content Officer, Brett Jones from SAP Signavio and outstanding customers including Department of Defence who shared their expertise and perspectives on the future of enterprise technology.
The breakout sessions covered some of the most relevant topics shaping the SAP community today — from Cloud Transformation and AI (including Joule) to S/4HANA, BTP, RISE and more.
We’re also excited to celebrate the winners of the SAUG BTP Hackathon – AI Edition. After four months of innovation and hard work, VCG Digital claimed first place with their solution, "SAPHire" which reimagines HXM and HR through AI-driven intelligence, automation and human-centric design. Congratulations also to DXC Technology, who secured second place as a finalist. Both teams demonstrated exceptional creativity and problem-solving, showcasing the future of SAP solutions.
The Summit was preceded on September 1 by our Executive Council Meeting, another very insightful gathering. A highlight was Richard Checketts, Managing Director of SNP ANZ, who spoke about why clean, well-structured data is the key to unlocking AI’s potential and ensuring that the S/4HANA journey becomes a true strategic enabler for AI-driven growth.
